The Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to undergraduate or postgraduate student who is beginning or continuing their studies and completing their degree in the Bundaberg region.
About Central Queensland University
A public university in Australia In the center of Queensland is Central Queensland University, also referred to as CQUniversity. CQUniversity is the only university in Australia with campuses in every mainland state. In addition to Norman Gardens, which serves as the organization’s main campus, it also has campuses in Adelaide (Wayville), Brisbane, Bundaberg (Branyan), Cairns, Emerald, Gladstone (South Gladstone and Callemondah), Mackay (central business district and Ooralea), Perth, Rockhampton City, Sydney, and Townsville. The Queensland Institute of Technology (Capricornia) was the original name of CQUniversity when it first opened its doors in 1967. Two years later, it changed its name to the University College of Central Queensland, and in 1992 it was formally established as the University of Central Queensland. Central Queensland University gained its name in 1994. Due to the schools’ growth outside of Central Queensland, they changed their name to CQUniversity in 2008.

The Bundaberg East Rotary Club chartered the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise on May 16, 1991.

The maximum amount of the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship is $3,000.
Eligibility for Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship
An applicant must satisfy the following requirements to be considered for the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship:
being enrolled at CQUniversity in Term 1, 2023, or planning to do so;
studying for a degree in education or learning management at the undergraduate or graduate level;
Be enrolled at CQUniversity as of the Census Date in Term 1, 2023;
Have a residence postcode in the Bundaberg area (postal code range: 4620-4675);
not have more than one CQUniversity Scholarship with an annual value of $10,000 or more.

Application materials and a 250-word essay addressing the question “How will a CQUniversity Scholarship assist with your studies?” will be used to evaluate applicants.
