- You must have enrolled at the University of Dundee in September 2022 for your first undergraduate course in any of our Schools excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Education & Social Work.

Further Information
The bursary is awarded in the form of a bursary paid directly to you in 3 instalments. The first payment is usually paid by the end of December in Semester 1.
Your fee status is confirmed in your Offer Letter, and we can only confirm your eligibility for the bursary after you have received your offer to study with us.
If you are not sure which School your course is delivered by, please check the Course Pages which will give you further information.
If you do not have A-Levels, but meet other criteria for this bursary, you can take a look at our Academic Excellence RUK grade equivalancies for other types of qualifications we accept.
If your qualification is not listed on our grade equivalencies, this means we are not able to accept your qualification as an alternative to A-Levels.
Please carefully read the Academic Excellence RUK Bursary Key Facts document for further information.
Do I have to apply?
No, there is no separate application form for this bursary, as your eligibility will be assessed as part of your course application.
Once you have enrolled onto your course at the University of Dundee, our Student Funding Team will be in contact with you to confirm your award and let you know how and when your bursary will be paid. Please keep an eye on your student email account for any updates as this is the only way we can contact you.
If you feel you should have been awarded this bursary and have not been notified from either our Admissions Team or Student Funding Team, please ensure you get in touch with our Student Funding Team by the end of Semester 1 2022/23.
